UL 2849 Certified

Laboratories Safety Standard

What is UL 2849?

UL 2849 is the safety standard for electrical systems of electric vehicles, covering battery packs, chargers, and electrical systems. All Sri Rag Motors electric vehicles meet or exceed this standard.

Why it matters:

UL 2849 certification ensures your electric vehicle's electrical system has been tested for safety, including protection against overcharging, short circuits, and thermal runaway. This certification provides peace of mind and may be required by some insurance companies.

What's tested:

Battery cells, battery management systems (BMS), chargers, electrical connections, and overall system integration are all tested to UL 2849 standards.
